I was taking Levofloxacin 500 mg. The therapy was supposed to last 7 days. I had to stop early due to extreme pain and limited range of movement in my shoulders, bicep area and legs. I have bi lateral knee pain that is making it difficult to walk. I've been out of work for almost 2 weeks. I'm off the meds 2 days now and the tendinitis has not eased up. DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICATION !!! This was the first time I had been sick in years but got pneunomia with sinus infection and bronchitis. Shoulder pain started on day 4 of medication and continued to get worse. Now is chronic pain and may be facing surgery. This medication should be removed from the market.

Stiff joints, stomach discomfort and terrible insomnia/nervousness. I do not recommend this medication unless you have a severe infection as the side effects were very troubling for me. I was only able to complete four days before I threw
