Sinus infection moving to the lungs. Typically this takes 10 days of amoxicillin 5 days of Zpack, and 6 weeks to get over the crud. This is typical twice a year. On 4th day, Friday, went to walk in clinic. Doc said to try this instead of the usual. Was able to work on Monday - this drug is a miracle by comparison.

There have been many poor reviews for this drug, so I felt the need to write a positive one. I am on day 7 of a 10 day course. It is clearing my infection and I have not experienced any side effects. In my case the fears of the nasty side effects were unfounded.

Started this 2 days ago,I have thrown up violently, no appetite at all, very light headed and shaking, feel like my temp is 103 but only 99.9. I have a terrible headache and neck and arm pains. I feel just miserable ! I'm on Codeine cough med and can't sleep . Sorry if I sound like a hypochondriac...but Thankx for reading this ! Only 4 more days on this drug. YiPeee !

Ended up in the ER. Hallucinations, fever, sweats, weak, fainting, unable to talk. Put through battery of tests; including spinal tap, CAT scan of head, chest x-rays, blood work etc. Would never recommend this drug. Still sick.
