I have only been on Quasense for a month and have been having terrible mood swings. I think I am bordering on manic-depressive. I have broken down crying in public, whereas other times I have stayed up for days in a row in manic energy. I never got neck and back acne and barely any facial acne, but have been breaking out in those regions since beginning on the pill. I also noticed that my skin ... Show Full Comment

I have used this BC for 4 years now. I absolutely love only having a period every 3 months and most the time it was just spotting (which is normal). However about 2 years ago i noticed sex drive decreasing and starting to stay dry a lot. Over the last two years it got worse and to the point that i just don't have sex. I am starting a new BC next week to see if that fixes the problem, but from ... Show Full Comment

I have been on Quasense for about four months, and honestly have not had the absolute worst side effects I have read about. No weight gain, serious mood swings, or decreased sex drive, no break through bleeding between periods, no increase in acne. But I do dislike the fact that basically starting from the beginning of the second month until I have a period, my abdomen cramps really badly and so ... Show Full Comment

I only used it for a month and I was extremely unhappy with it. The first day I had to leave school early w/ nausea and throwing up. My face has never broken out as badly as it did when I took Quasense. HORRIBLE. Also, I don't gain weight easily and I gained 6 pounds in the 1 month that I took it. Spotting and lots of discharge everyday. I would not recommend.

I took Quasense for about 6 months and my experience with this birth control was a good one, except I have PCOS. For those who do not know what PCOS is, it's Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, and I have an imbalance hormones going on in my body. They are completely out of whack, and basically this birth control was not strong enough for me. If I didn't have PCOS, this birth control would have bee ... Show Full Comment
