My doctor switched me to this after asacol did not work and gave me bad stomach cramps. At first it gave me headaches but I can deal with that as it has helped my symptoms so much. I take 2 a day and it works great. I just had a colonoscopy and thought I was having a flare up and it turns out the bottom of my colon is inflamed so I am on suppositories now as well. I have only been on this med for a week. 4 pill each morning. I haven't had any pain but I have not had the urge to "go" all week. Has anyone else experienced this. Oh yeah, my knee joint hurt (or locks) in the front now. This has never happened before.

This is my first day on this medication. My doctor gave me some samples to try and when I opened the first blister, I smelled a foul odor. I was just wondering if this was normal? Has anyone else experienced this?
