    I have a bone infection in my jaw from the removal of my wisdom teeth. I took Invanz for 6 weeks via a PICC line and was very happy with the lack of side effects and the progress noted through bloodwork. However, after going off the medicine the infection came right back after two weeks. I am now on Invanz again via PICC Line, for 8 weeks. The medicine has not been as effective this time. My bloo ...     My Father has been on this drug for over 2 weeks due to an infection after a hip replacement. He is 83 and has a very sharp mind. Now if no one talks to him for 10 seconds he dozes into this agitated stage where he is feeding himself, reaching for things, talking and at times aggressive behavior over things that aren't even there.     I took this medicine by IV via a Picc line for 3.5 weeks to clear up a very bad infection of my breast following a reduction. The bacteria causing my infection was Serratia. I had no side effects except a yeast infection and also yeast in the area of my wound vac (breast). I get yeasty with ANY antibiotic, though.
