I have never been in so much pain . Within hours of the infusion my joints and bones were screaming in pain. The dr. Gave me tramadol and said it would pass . It is passing but taking so long. As it passes my left hand started swelling . I woke one day to find the pain in my hand unbearable . The thumb joint and wrist is horrible. I cannot use it all and it gets worse daily. Today I will seek help

I am a 58 year old woman, and yesterday afternoon I had my Reclast Intravenous Procedure done for the first time. I drank plenty of water (64 oz) the day before, and drank more water (32 oz) the morning of. I took two (2) Extra Strength Tylenol one hour prior to the Procedure. I was scared to death to have this infusion because of the negative reviews. I even put it off for two years trying to find a natural remedy. I finally felt at peace about getting the infusion when my last bone scan showed osteoporosis in one area and osteopenia in two areas. I knew I had to do something.
