Zanfel is amazing. Like others, I hated to pay the high price (hint - amazon has it cheaper). I followed the directions closely for using Zanfel. It worked like a charm. Wish I had used it several days before I broke down and bought Zanfel. Well worth the money. I would venture to say that the people who wrote the bad reviews aren't using it according to the directions. Wet skin first, work in ... Show Full Comment

I guess different people react differently to medicines. For me the stuff worked wonders. I bought the generic Walgreens version and used it on my forearms. It wasn't a large area and I used it twice back to back but it worked and I feel was well worth the $30 I paid for it.

I bought this product despite the ridiculous price because of the discomfort and location of the rash. It stopped the itching completely in all but one spot. The spot that continued to itch was noticeably minimized. In addition, all areas that had a rather ugly rash were noticea ... Show Full Comment

Tried several remedies to relieve symptoms of poison ivy exposure to no avail. Read about zanfel and many positive reviews on other sites and decided to spring for the $40 because I was miserable. To the other reviewer's point, the itching stopped while I was applying the product, but returned soon thereafter. COMPLETELY INEFFECTIVE!

    Comment:
While camping along a remote stretch of the coast in California, I contracted a pretty bad case of poison oak on my right leg. The Zanfel took away the itching and began reducing the impacted area on the first application. It came back the second and third days but I just reapplied and it went away again. Only side effect is that part of my leg still had a numbing feeling 2 montsh later. The stuff ... Show Full Comment
