This is the only oral supplement that improves my iron and hemoglobin levels. Unfortunately, my new insurer (Health Net) refuses to cover it, saying it can be duplicated with OTC meds. Local pharmacies are hesitant to order it because they say it's too expensive to risk that I won't pick it up. Multigen caplet has caused black stool and diarrhea.Every time I eat something,I must run to the bathroom.I am taking it from a Dermatologist who was checking me for scalp itching and baldness.

Used due to iron def anemia while pregnant. However after taking for almost 2 months, my iron level had not increased.
