Yes, for some the initial skin irritation can be suprising but within 5-10 minutes after applying I can feel my spasming muscles relax. Acts slower than, say, Heet linament, but the relaxing of muscles lasts longer than most other products. I have some nights where I could never had gotten to sleep without using product. I received an immedite skin burning and blisters. there is no information reguarding this reaction to this treatment. I was 30 miles out of town on my way home when I needed to apply this ointment., NEVER AGAIN

Thera-Gesic helps relieve pain but it hurts a bit first. The first time I used this medicine my knee was aching and since my mom used to help relieve her aches and pains I thought I would try it. So I read the instructions on the back and applied the medicine. Not long after I put the stuff on I felt as though the back of my knee was going to burn off.
