I was on a very low dosage of Trilipix for the first month. I had no symptoms of any kind, so my physician increased the dosage last week. I have been on the increased dosage for 6 days now and the muscle pain in my legs and lower back is intolerable. I threw the medicine away.

Been on medicine for 5 wks, tri went from 636 to 215, overall cholesterol with in five points now. No problems swollowing, no pains. Long term, I hope this pill is my answer. My pharmacy has told me there is a generic "senosibrate 134mg", you may want to look into this, more cost effective.

I took Trilipix for exactly one year. The last 3 months on it I had such severe upper leg pain that I could no longer enjoy my daily walks. Also had chest pains & acid reflux. Leg pain went away 3 days after stopping med. I will not take this again.
