The reason I didn't buy this supplement is after reading the ingredient list as listed below. Just fillers and rubbish that your body can't use. Hardly surprising that folk are suffering with very bad side effects. I use Spatone liquid iron, totally natural with no rubbish fillers. took product as described and did not see any improvement in iron levels. Developed a severe reaction including weakness, shortness of breath, and hypertension. Required medical treatment to recover and full recovery took several months. Had no other medical issues or prescription medication needs before taking this OTC product.

After two days of using this product my legs broke out with rash-like symptoms. Tiny red dots all over both legs. Went to my MD, he said it was a drug reaction and asked what I was taking. I don't know if it was due to the Bifera alone or if it was a drug interaction with my blood pressure med. I stopped taking the product immediately and my legs cleared up within a week

Severely anemic and my caregiver recommends (2) Bifera tablets per day. There is some slight constipation, but nothing like the symptoms of using heme supplements only.
