Stared taking in FEB 2010 for fibromyalgia. Didn't think it would do anything but I was wrong. I found out how much it did work when I forgot to renew.

Savella started working right away to treat my Fibromyalgia. At first had some mild side effects but once I was on the full dose my Dr prescribed I started having severe headaches and developed tingle in my arms and legs as well as other side effects. I have had excessive sweating for the last year while on this medication. Had the same problem with Cymbalta. BP has went up and heart rate has been running in the 120's and 130's. On a beta blocker and still having trouble with HR. Got off Savella and the sweating has stopped but after being off the medication 2 days the pain is increasing.

Prescribed for Fibromyalgia- had more intense headaches, worsening pain, anxiety. Feel much better now that I am NOT taking it!

I have been on sevalla only 6 days. So far no relief from FM pain. I was on Cymbalta for 6 months stopped working after 3 months. Even though I felt immediately better on Cymbalta (like the very next day) it did not last. I started getting FM pain back, crying, and not able to sleep again. So dr put me on savella.
