Yesterday afternoon, I took four tablets (over a period of time (as instructed by doctor). Very early this morning, I began severe diarrhea which has continued to present (mid morning). Don't know what to expect when I try to eat something. Medicatioin did not seem to help the problem for which it was prescribed.

The medication did reduce the pain of gout, but the side effects have included diarrhea and sore stomach, and I had an episode of terrible pains in my hips and calves while out walking today ( which I suspect may have been brought on by the medication). So I think I'm giving up on this drug.

Initially pain from gout decreased. After about 2 months, I stopped taking it and all symptoms of gout disappeared. This is a very expensive drug- $165 for 30 days. I don't intend to ever take it again,

This medication works great causing my pain to go away completely in 3 days. However, it requires a prescription and costs over $100 for 30 very tiny pills I only take this for 3 days and then stop taking it cause I have heard that it has bad side effects.
