This pill is small and low impact. If you pop 3 in a day it will hurt though. I would only Max out at 2 pills per 24 hours and that only for the first day or two. It stopped gout in it's tracks for me. Obviously when taking this pill its important to adjust your diet to a low purine, to make sure your body can flush out the bad and not have it all replaced right away. Also... here is a ... On the plus side: no more swelling in my foot, ankle, rt index, knee. Saying goodbye to redness, heat and the accompanying pain is wonderful. Weight loss. The price is awful. So awful I had to be confined to bed, pretty much 24/7 for 3 weeks before I gave in. The number of trips to bathroom was so frequent and urgent I didn't dare even leave the house. I worry about the speed of weight los ... Show Full Comment

The old generic version was only about 10 cents a tablet. It worked great but was a LITTLE hard on the stomach. That drug is NOT available any longer and new version is $8.00 a tablet... WTF????
