I had read other reviews, but still decided to try this drug. The taste is worse than I had imagined and the melting pill caused a gross foaming saliva. My tongue was numb after a few minutes so gulping soda to rid the awful taste didn't even help. I spent the next 2 1/2 hours kicking and tossing and turning in bed with restless legs. I have been taking Saphris 10 mg twice daily for about a month and a half. The dissolving process is hell but it seems to be keeping my mania under control. after taking 3 5mg & 1 10 mg dose experienced excruiating joint pain in my knees, right shoulder & especially both hands from wrist to knuckles. I used motrin, xanax & electric heat Pad also aspercream & benadryl ( cholergeric effect for help with tendon tighting)had to go to ER for pain medicine. would not wish this pain on my worst enemy . think long & hard before taking t

be very, very careful when taking this drug! During routine bloodwork my liver enzymes were three times the normal level while on Saphris. The taste is awful and I lost all taste sensation while on this drug. Do not take this unless it is a last resort!!!

this medication is very good. u can tell by the very 1st day you start taking sahhris.i pray it works forever.its the 1st medicine that works.the only very bad thing is that just the insurance won't pay any of it and it is $600.00,yes $600.00 per prescipation.PLEASE,PLEASE, HELP US .WE CAN'T AFFORD IT AT ALL.AND IT'S THE ONLY MEDICINE THAT WORKS!!!!!!PLEASE HELP.
