I had surgery Feb was a horrible experience It did put me to sleep but I woke up sick ad threw up the day and night. I couldn't put tw words together. Confusion lasted two months. I had migraines and went to a neurologist for a brain scan. The nerves in my brain were sensitive to pain and inflamed. I had cortizone shots in my neck. It has finally gone. I had this twice for procedures and did not remember anything or feel any pain from the procedure. On the other hand, I vomited for 3 days both times, even with 2 different anti-nausea meds and being admitted to a hospital the first time, so that the meds went in an IV. My doctor didn't understand it because he said the medicine is calming and sometimes used for anti-nausea and has a short

I had surgery on 1/12/2011. Although not a major surgery. I woke up instantly in the recovery room, and felt wonderful. No coughing, no nausea, and very alert. If you are able to choose, I would choose this!! The Doctor told me it was easy because they can get this out of your system faster than the other drugs!! I hope this helps!!

I have an allgery to Ativan, valium, versed, and ect. I had surgery on 9/14, I did very well on the drug. I did not have a H/A after waking up or nausea. I have had other issues in the past with other meds in surgery.
