    After 6 weeks: So far SO GREAT! I was on Lisinopril for 2 years and it started causing my heart to pound. I did not have a good doctor and he ignored my problem. He "retired" and I got a nurse practitioner who prescribed Amlodipine. It works for me because I have trouble sleeping, so I take it at night and it makes me drowsy.     I've been taking amlodipine for 10 years but for the past year all of a sudden I have been extremely fatigued tingling chest pains headaches muscle spasms that fatigue is so unbearable I can barely work and enjoy life I'm taking myself off this and just going to start working out and eating better

    Amlodipine besylate 5mg is soooooo EVIL. IF I had known about this medication before I started taking it. I WOULD HAVE NEVER AGREED TO GET IT. This medicine makes you feel like you're having a heart attack and stroke. Trying to stop taking this medication is like you feel like you have an addiction. It's like the medication tries to FORCE YOU to take it because of the harsh side effects. ... Show Full Comment

    I take this as a Calcium Channel Blocker. Due to a brain tumor. This pill causes massive heartburn for me.
