I have been taking Livalo for almost a year. I am now having severe pain in my neck, shoulders, arms, lower back, and my muscles ache. Will be seeing dr. next week for these problems. I have been able to take this statin longer than all of the others combined and it does work.

Did a good job on bad cholesterol but after about 1.5 months of taking started with major joint pain in knees, ankles, feet and hips. It is so uncomfortable I can't do all my cardio workout...I also take Niaspan and I do not feel they are a good mix...can't take other statins either..worse side affects
