Severe side effects at begining of the fourth week of treatment. First week felt great, lots of energy. Second week felt normal. Third week restlessness at night. Fourth week no sleep until 4 AM for two nights with extremely active thoughts could not relax, even after taking sleeping pills. Have had severe bouts of insomnia, have had aches in wrists,right ankle, pain in center of back. Overall, have had fatigue, not felt well, attribute it to use of livalo???

After having tried many, many statins, my doctor tried Livalo at 2mg. It works, absolutely NO side effects and within 3 months my total cholesterol had dropped 120 points.
