I started out taking Llvalo 2 mg 3 times/wk working toward every day along with Zetia. It seemed to affect my emotional state and my legs. Stopped taking it and the dr told me to take 1mg 3 times/wk of Livalo only. It really affected my emotions. I cried a lot and was not very nice to my husband. He knew every time I took it. I stopped 4 days ago and have noticed a difference already. Has any one

After trying 6 other statin drugs, this one seems to have the least in body/muscle cramp symptoms. I have gained 5 to 7 lbs though in 3 months since I started Livalo. I continue to workout and eat a proper diet. Not sure about the weight gain.

My doctor started me on 2mg Livalo about seven weeks ago. No side effects of any kind. I don't take any other medication. Price is an issue but I have coupons from my doctor that limits a 30-day supply to $25. For now I will stick with it. Blood test at 6th week came back with good results (haven't seen the details yet.)
