My internist put me on Livalo after an extremely high cholesterol count was noted. Three weeks later I tested and there was a dramatic drop in my numbers. I have no side effects whatsoever. I have been taking cholesterol drugs for 10 years and have never felt as good as on this one.

First week was rough. Had stomach flu like symptoms, head ache but second week symptoms seem to have stabilized. I'll give it one more week before I go back for blood test.

HAVE ONLY TAKEN THE MEDICINE FOR A FEW DAYS, ALREADY HAVING MUSCLE CRAMPS AND THE HEADACHES HAVE STARTED. HEADACHE IS CONSTANT. WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TOLERATE THIS MEDICATION. SEEMS TO BE THE SAME AS WITH THE OTHER 5 OR 6 STATINS I'VE TRIED.

    Comment:
I have only been on this medicine for one week. So far so good. I had to stop taking the last 3 meds after one week or less. I have had a little head ache since taking this med, not big enough to take anything but it is constant. Anyone else have a similar problem?
