I recently had bilateral cataract surgery, and my optomologist prescribed this medication for both pre op and post op usage. He prescribed four bottles of it, along with two bottles of Diclofenac, and two large bottles of Prednislone. I also bought a bottle of Tropicamide to dialate my pupils prior to surgery. I use three types four times a day until gone. Now I have good insurance, so only spent

$127.00 for a 2.5ml bottle of eyedrops. No generic available. Had to have it for cataract surgery. Fortunately the one little bottle was enough to have both eyes done. No complaints, I think it does what it's supposed to do but WOW! quite a price tag.

I have another Cataract surgery coming soon, he has given me "Ofloxacin" to try..Just because a drug is newer does not mean better. I paid 78.00, this one

This product is very, very expensive even with insurance. I have called the company and asked if they have a copay assistance program. They said no and they did not care that I could not afford the product. Doctors should not prescibe this product to their patients.
