Have been on Pradaxa for a little over a month, was on coumadin over 7 years---big difference: no INRs, can eat greens. No side effects except some tenderness in area of kidneys. Large pill is hard to swallow with lapband though.

I have been on this drug 6 days. So far so good. Maybe my imagination but I feel better off the Warfarin.

After hospitalization for A-Fib, was started on Pradaxa and Rythmol. For 32 days, everything seemed fine; and then I broke out with a severe redness and itching of the face and neck with swelling, also involving soreness and tenderness of the nodes behind ears. Have spent 5 days with 3 of my private physicians and 1 emergency room physician trying to see which drug is causing it. So far, Rythmo
