This drug definitely has its pros and cons... I originally went on the pill to help treat my acne and when I first started my acne did not improve. As a matter of fact, it got much worse. However, after a little research I found that this was a common side effect of many birth controls because it takes the body a few months to adjust to the changing hormone levels. The pharmacy switched me from Reclipsen to Emoquette without my or my Doctor's notification or approval. After the first 2 weeks on Emoquette I had chest pains, dizziness, nausea. It got so bad I went to the E.R. thinking I was having a heart attack. The drug also gives me headaches. It seems some packets are 'ok', the side effects are milder.
