    My dog reacted well to this medicine however it didn't knock him out it just slowed him down so I could pick him up.

    This drug was prescribed for my 22 lb. beagle mix; she is terrified of thunderstorms. I had tried the ThunderVest & herbal remedies, but they did not work. This pill was 10 mg, but I also thought it was too debilitating and the effects lasted too long ( 8-10 hours ) I tried 1/2 pill, which didn't work, and then 3/4 dose, which seemed to work better .     5 month old American Pit Bull Terrier who broke his leg at 7 days old went through a couple of surgeries so this was use to calm him down when we take him out like to the vets! hes 60lbs pure muscle He takes 3 50grams and it barely works!! lol once he sleeps he sleeps but takes a while. I dont really want to give him more!?

    was prescribed to give 1 or 2 pills, but gave 1/2 of one instead. give half hour to see if more is needed. 60 lb. springer for fireworks or thunderstorms. more concerned of long term effects
