I have had chronic back pain for 5 years. I was on tramadol and hydrocodone and steroid injections which stop working. The doctor at the pain management center gave me Nucynta Er 150 2x a day and tramadol 50mg 2x a day. This has been wonderful for me. Had memory loss, couldn't function at work. Drug did very little to stop the pain, but made me feel like I was confused all the time. I could hardly walk, couldn't hold a conversation. Was not a good med for me-had similar problems with Lyrica.
