My almost 4 year old son is taking this med because he has a terrible URI. It is a great med for him so far. I did adjust the dosage down when I realized it made him really sleepy. I only give half the recommended dosage and it stops his cough. I have been giving it at night mostly, but I have noticed a little more hyperactivity in the day time. I don't know if it's a side effect or not. S
