I want to give a warning to anyone that takes this drug. I took kariva for years and had great results but then I tried this drug and within the 4 days of use I gained 5 pounds, was crying and angry all the time as well as sleeping more. I was taking Kariva for Years! Of course the manufacturer was sold and no longer makes Kariva. To my surprise, I found Viorele in my prescription bag, without any explanation from the pharmacy nonetheless. I hadn't experienced any side effects from Kariva. My pharmacy switched me from kariva to viorele. I had NO problems with kariva. Withing two weeks of taking viorele I gained 7 lbs, spotted every day, had awful headaches, been extremely tired and terrible dry mouth. I would NOT recommend this pill!
