Before I started taking birth control my cramps were unbearable, I would even have to stay home from school or work they were so bad. The first pill I used (don't remember the name) gave me awful headaches, mood swings, hot flashes, etc. Viorele hasn't given me any of these problems! I'll occasionally have bad cramping on the first day of my period but that's about it. I did, howev

Apparently CVS has this as their preferred drug of choice. My prescription was changed over from Kariva (which I have had no problems with for at least 6 years). I've been on viorele for 3 months now, going on 4 and i can happily say my cramps are gone, no weird side effects, the first week on it i did lose my appetite but now I'm perfectly fine. Although i am noticing some acne near my jawline which i never had... Perhaps its the pill or my eating habitss ? No idea. But its a great pill.

I've been on Viorele for about 2 years. Starting any birth control is going to make anyone emotional, so I expected all of that. I think I did gain about 5lbs, and it is not weight that will come off (I am extremely active) but I don't mind. No problems overall.

I was on Kariva for about a year and then like most other reviews the pharmacy switched me to Viorele. To be honest I actually prefer this one. On Kariva I felt like a raging lunatic with no desire for sex but on Viorele I don't get moody and my periods are lighter and shorter which is great. I know everyone's body is different but I haven't had a problem since the switch and I've
