    I lost 8 lbs in the first week of use. I smoked the first week and by the second week cigs tasted terrible. It has only been 2 weeks with no cigs I am confident that the meds are working. 20yrs of smoking.

    In the second week I felt disconnected and anxious. I continued use despite feeling strange because it wasn't something I couldn't deal with and after another week or so I felt normal again. I had smoked one half a pack/day for almost 10 years and tried quitting 3 times prior unsuccessfully with the patch and going cold turkey.     I smoked 1/2 pack ciggerettes per day for 25 years. took Zyban and quite with ease. That was 12 years ago

    I am 66 and have smoked since I was 17. I was smoking 25 a day. I have in the past tried to stop by going cold turkey,& by hypnosis,with no success, -hideous withdrawal symptoms, and huge weight gain despite careful diet.I asked my Dr for a meatabolism booster and appetite suppressant to assist my next attemot to quit.
