I started to take Eliquis 2 months ago. After a month and the half I started to have joint pains and some swelling. The symptoms will go from one join to another (hands;knees;feet;jaw). Okay comment # 2 ....I was on ELIQUIS for 5 1/2 days ,took 12 doses .I got severe lower back pain after 4 doses .after taking an echo card. and a discussion with my doctor about the back pain ,he told me to stop taking it ...thank you JESUS ! And by the way my monthly co-pay with a good med advantage plan would have been $207.00 per month ! I am now back to coated aspirin !

I only started this last FRI. evening after getting home from my doctors office . Took 1 pill that evening ...2 Sat. ...2 SUN ...2 MON SO ,I don't know if it works on me or not yet! After 6 months on Eliquis I developed severe Nausea and extreme loss of weight. I did have nausea the first 3 months , that subsided and no weight loss but at the six months it returned with a vengence with the nausea and loss of 10 pounds very quickly.

Horrible side effects including joint pain, fatigue, and skin burning. Side effects came on gradually over 8 months until they were so severe it felt as if I had the flu with my skin on fire. Symptoms started to abate within two days of discontinuing under doctor’s supervision. You could not pay me to take this drug again.
