The pills are too large. I would rather take two small pills twice a day. I can't use them and am out $34.00.

I have osteoarthritis and osteopenia. Most recently, I fractured my ankle, which caused additional stress on my "good" leg causing pain in my knee and ankle. My doctor suggested that I take Osteo Bi Flex, so I started taking the Triple Strength about 2 weeks ago. Immediately, my stomach began hurting, causing me to even wake up at night with pain. My doctor suggested that I take Osteo Bi Flex, so I started taking the Triple Strength about 2 weeks ago. Immediately, my stomach began hurting, causing me to even wake up at night with pain. I wonder whether the regular form of Osteo Bi-Flex would be less intense? I do think that I have noticed some improvement in my knee pain but I may have to stop taking this supplement due to the side effects.

Took the triple strength but only took 1/2 of recommended dose because I can be sensitive to medication and wanted to start out slowly. Shortly after I started taking it regularly I began having an irregular heartbeat and atrial fibrillation. Wore a heart monitor and had it diagnosed. Finally my cardiologist asked me if I had begun taking anything new in the timeframe I had started experiencing the heart problems. I had mentioned this over-the-counter drug to three other doctors and they never suspected it. I told her about the Osteo Bi-Flex and she said to stop taking it. She actually said, "it probably isn't it, but stop taking it anyway, just in case." I did and the irregular heartbeat and atrial fibrillation stopped immediately. I had been having heart episodes about every two weeks for a few months that I was aware of. That was over two months ago and I have been fine since. There is no indication of this type of side effect in the drug history. There should be.
