Prefer Suboxone, but my health insurance no longer covers it. I find Zubsolv to be equally effective, however, the tablets are not as easy to use as the strips.

Was on suboxone twice and relapsed. Hated taking suboxone and it didn't seem to help me. This 3rd time and feeling much more confident than ever that it will be my last I was put on zubsolv and I'm very thankful as some combination of the zubsolv /Dr / counseling / family saved my life no doubt.Taking 1/2 of a 5.7 mg pill in the AM and the other half in the PM and feeling great and ready t ... I was initially on Suboxone and then switched to zubsolv because my insurance wouldn't cover the Suboxone. Ever since I had been on zubsolv I had a lot of side effects including severe muscle and joint pain especially in my hands and worse in my legs and knees and back. I could barely get out of bed in the morning and was so sore and stiff that I felt like I was 90 years old. I had trouble sleeping at night and was always hot and sweaty. Also the equivalent dose did not work. I was initially on 4mg Suboxone and went to 2.9mg zubsolv and twice a day and had to go up to 5.7 in the am and 8.6 at night. That made all the side effects way worse. This drug was horrible for me. Luckily I have been put back on Suboxone with a prior authorization to my insurance. After one dose beef BK on Suboxone with the equivalent dose I feel so much better and actually need less of the sub. I am prescribed 2 1/2 8mg strips a day and only need 1 1/2 to 2 strips a day. And will be tapering down shortly to 1 strip day. I can't believe the difference. I would not recommend zubsolv, by if it works better for some then it works better for some. I just so greatful to be back on Suboxone and feel so much better and can live my life. Also I had relapsed twice while on subs and none on Suboxone.
