Comment:
I gave Injectafer 2 high reviews before this last time. 3 months after the Injectafer, I suddenly couldn't walk and had severe muscle weakness and cramping, especially in my legs. After insisting on a Phosphorus blood level, I was diagnosed with severe Hypophosphatemia, low phosphorus. Blood work showed my muscles were breaking down. I could hardly walk or use my arms. The muscles were like we

ANXIETY! I took my first dose of Injectafer about 3 weeks ago. It seems like ever since then I have become a complete and utter basket case! Quickly after my first infusion I experienced some common side effects but my anxiety has been almost uncomfortable! After about 2 weeks I started wondering what set me off my family and I all agreed that it all started about the day after I received my infus

Injectafer requires for you to receive two doses a week apart. I received this treatment in December and in February I received a bill from the infusion center showing that each treatment cost over $6000. Severe headache 3days after the infusion. Had to take Tylenol every 6 hours for relief. I feel some improvement after just 1 treatment, but thereâ??s some slight dizziness when standing for too long. Going for my 2nd dose tomorrow. Havenâ??t checked my phosphate levels, but intend to ask for this to be done in follow up.

Comment:
This drug causes severe hypophosphatemia in the majority of patients according to a new study. I ended up in the ER with dangerously low phosphorous and weeks later continue to be very low despite high dose supplementation. I will never touch this drug again.
