I imagine this is what it might feel like to perform brain surgery after not sleeping for 72 hours. I can't make high level decisions, like whether or not to go to the restroom. I'm so lightheaded I have a constant urge to barf. Ugh. But no migraines.

I have been taking Trokendi XR 200mg for 4 months in combination with Botox. After suffering with migraines and not being able to function at all for years, I am truly grateful. I still get migraines but not as frequently. There are side effects that I wish would have dissipated by now. The most awful one is the lack of sexual drive (I am a female). I have been on this medication for a month. For 2 months I woke up every, single morning with a terrible migraine. Since taking this med, I have had 3 headaches that were quickly taken away with OTC meds. This med has truly been my lifesaver!!! The only 2 side affects I had was a bad taste in my mouth and extreme dizziness that went away after the first week or two of use. I only take this at bedt

I have taken this drug for 3 months now and have found it to be the most effective daily preventative prescription available. Before taking Trokendi XR 200MG I took Topromate 50MG 4x daily. It's such a relief to only take one pill a day. I do have a strange side effect that effects my taste of carbonate beverages. Everything tastes flat.
