    Comment:
Lomedia 24 fe was my first ever experience with oral contraceptives. I asked for a birth control that would help manage my hormonal acne and heavy period. When I first started taking lomedia I had heavy cramping that was painful and would last almost all day and since I used the "first day" method to begin taking lomedia it increased my blood flow greatly so I was so frightened that thes ... Im 24 and ive never taken birth control before Lomedia 24 fe so i cant compare it to others, but my experience has been 100% positive so far. I feel that my energy levels are elevated also I guess because of the balance in my hormones. The only thing is i had break through spotting on my first pack, but irregular periods was part of the reason for going on birth control in the first place, so that ... Show Full Comment

I have PMDD, and my doctor prescribed this medication to me after I had some negative experiences with BeYaz. I've only been on it a month, and I already hate it. Weight gain, boating (even in my feet - my shoes don't fit!), acne, mood swings, etc. etc. It's awful and I would rather deal with the heavier periods than any of these awful side effects.

I read the horrid stories about minestrin and I did not even want to give it a chance! I was originally on Trisprintec and it gave me the worse cramps the entire time. Trisprintec also gave me yeast infections or bladder infections every 2/3 months. I switched to Loestrin and as everyone else said, it was the best birth control ever. I went 2 years without an infection at ALL before they discontin ... Show Full Comment

I switched top lomedia 24 after dealing with the horrid acne and bloating from minastrin 24. I had been on loestrin 24 for years without a problem. After starting lomedia I began to notice cramping that lasted all day. My left ovary was also constantly in pain. I thought maybe my endometriosis was flaring up but I do skip the placebos therefore I don't get a period. After the constant cramping ... Show Full Comment
