I have been on original Ortho Evra for years and am very upset that my regular pharmacy is no longer carrying the original form. The new patch does not stick. I do not feel well, out of sorts. I understand generics are supposed to be very very similar and have the same results, but not the case here. This generic is no equal, or even half as effective. This birth control i horrible i never had any problems with orthro evra i have been using it for years but this xulane makes me sick get rid of it. !!! It also falls off and yes i apply it the right way i demand it to be off the market who ever made this clearly knows nothing !

I think so far, I will be the only one who will say I like it. Ive never been on the ortho patch, so I cant say if the other is better or not. But I have used the implant in my arm, iuds, countless different types of pills and this one is by far my favorite. If you are switching from the Ortho Evra you will notice a major problems with this new product - you'll have your period without end. The chemicals don't absorb as fast because it's a smaller patch and so you're left spotting almost every single day of the month and it's absolutely horrible. I was forced to switch after new health laws passed which made it possible for me to not have to pay a co pay. However, this medication made me tired, hungry all the time, weight gain, headaches, vaginal dryness.
