I HAVE BEEN ON THIS MEDICINE FOR 48 WEEKS AND HAVE A FEW MORE TO GO. HAS A LOT OF SIDE EFFECTS, WEIGHT LOSS, MOOD IMBALANCES, FEVERS, CHILLS, HAIR LOSS AND MANY MORE THAT I HAVE DEALT WITH. BUT IF YOUR ON IT, HANG IN THERE. ITS THE BEST FDA APPROVED TREATMENT WE HAVE FOR HCV. AN MD AND A PATIENT

AFTER 26 WEEKS MY CBC HAS GONE FROM GOOD TO 7 THIS MED REALLY MADE ME FEEL SLOW, WEAK, AND LISTLESS NOT WANTING TO GO ANYWHERE OR DO ANYTHING, NO DEPRESSION, BUT A BIT GROUCHIER.IT IS AWFUL BUT IT IS EFFECTIVE APPARENTLY THE VIRUS IS UNDETECTABLE. IHAVE VERY LONG HAIR AND HAVE LOST HALF OF IT SO FAR. VERY DRY SKIN AND NOSE DRINK PLENTY OF WATER BUT DEHYRATE BAD ANYWAY. DIZZY EVERYTIME I SNEEZE. SO

kim b - hang in there. no one bothers to tell you that the first treatment is the absolute very worst. this type of chemo works the opposite way, instead of bulding up and getting worse as you go, the first one is the worst and it gets better. you really need someone to talk to that has been through the treatment. ask your doctor for the nearest liver support group - or at the least the name of a

one dose only and it has been very bad so far. need something to knock me out at bedtime. i have had to take handfuls of drugs for aches and hot tub 2 times a day. i have cried and had fits of anger.
