The worst experience all around. I had Mirena without any issues. It took my OBGYN TWO times to get proper insertion. On top of that, I ended up with 3 ovarian cysts and constant pain. I later found out that the ultrasound technician who worked there also had issues with Liletta after having ZERO issues with Mirena

had this IUD inserted about 1 year ago to date. the insertion was incredibly painful but really was relatively quick. my obgyn used numbing on my cervix which i think helped but it still sucked. after insertion i bled and cramped for about a month straight but not heavy. periods prior to the liletta were extremely long, painful, and heavy. now they are very light (only wear panty liner) and abo

When I got the liletta instead it wasn't painful at all. I was nervous from what other women said but was surprised when the doctor was done and the pieces was pretty much pain free.
