    I have struggled with depression and anxiety for 25 years. I had several, negative life events trigger my depression. I had been very stable for years. However, this time, my depressive symptoms came fast, furious and had some psychotic, scary features, including wanting to harm myself.     DEVELOPED A SCALDED TONGUE FEELING, like as with a hot beverage. This was around 2 weeks after starting it. I thought I had burnt my tongue at first but it got worse. My whole tongue started to hurt more, so I called the clinic and they had me discontinue taking it. Made me upset having to stop it because it was working really good.     Quite impressed with my response to this medication. Just started 2 mg. I have more energy, have dreams again, don't feel disabled anymore. I have struggled with depression for 20 years and have 3 maternal family members who committed suicide. I sure wish this treatment had been available for them.     Definite decrease in feelings of sadness. Results mitigating depression noticeable, albeit not overwhelming. Definite increase in hunger and inability for self control when eating...Have gained about 5% in body weight. in approx 6 weeks.

    I am like the other reviewer in that my dreams have been Very Vivid and somewhat scary. I am, however, able to reason with myself during the dreams and tell myself that I will be Ok. The other side effect I have noticed is diarrhea...I'm prone to diarrhea anyway, but this is worse than normal and it's not subsiding as of yet.
