Annoying to open but you get the hang of it after a few tries. Applying it also is challenging, I wasted probably half of my first 10 tries because they did not stick to cheek and got swallowed, making them not work. Do exactly as package says. Make sure fingers are dy. Push yellow side on a very wet spot on cheek for 5 seconds. Let go and close your mouth for 1 min while it disolves. Do not eat ... Show Full Comment

The only thing I receive from taking this medication is a headache, slight vision problem and it makes me sleepy. It does not help my pain at all. I have only been taking it for a few weeks so I am trying to give it a chance but it is VERY expensive - even with insurance.

As others have mentioned, package is difficult to open and the film can be tricky to get it to dissolve properly. Once you get past those hurdles, the effectiveness is good. I have used the Fentanyl and I like this better. No major breakthrough pain like Fentanyl. With the Fentanyl, after 48 hours the effect quickly wears off and by the time 72 hours ace around I would be in major pain. Put anothe ... Show Full Comment

    Comment:
Expensive, poor ease of use, film wrinkles on cheek loosing effectiveness of drug, film sticks real good to your finger. Poor chronic pain relief. I was unable to use this drug due to headaches and nausea. My pain is out of control without any prescribed pain meds from pain management clinic. OTCs meds do not help. I am miserable with poor quality of life.
