I was on Butrans Transdermal patch (also buprenorphine) but they were sweating off in the TX summer heat so I was switched to BELBUCA. I like it. It's a small square"film" that sticks to the inside of your cheek and dissolves within 30 minutes. I do that every 12 hours. It is simple and this medication works great. I highly recommend it! It's a small square"film" that sticks to the inside of your cheek and dissolves within 30 minutes. I do that every 12 hours. It is simple and this medication works great. I highly recommend it! It is the one and only pain medicine I take. I have DDD in my neck (which needs surgery) and in my back. I also have herniated disks in my back and arthritis in my facets. I can live life again because of this medication. I also like that I do not have to take pills all day long.

This drug has been extremely effective in the control of Fibromyalgia symptoms. It has also helped eye slew with the pain from osteo arthritis and the pain associated with two knee replacements. I have cut my intake of oral pain medicine by 80%. The pain I still have is bearable on current dose of 459mcg. I am opioid resistant which makes pain control very difficult but this has been the best medi ... Show Full Comment

this drug does NOT help with chronic pain. it also is EXTREMELY difficult, next to impossible to open each dosage pack without scissors. also does NOT stick to cheek well. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.
