I was on this pill for 13 months, and it was my very first experience with any sort of birth control. I have to say, it was not pleasant in the slightest. I bled for two-three weeks every month, and my doctor initially told me this was "normal" for the first three months (spotting is, but the amount of blood I lost shouldn't have been). Never had any kind of problem with this drug or its generic coutnerpart. Works great for period regulation as well as birth control. Never experienced a side effect.
