I was not aware that I was allergic to this med and have had a red rash around my torso for 6 days and does not seem to be any better. Have seen my Family MD and am taking Hydroxyz tab 25mg to stop the itiching and hives associated with the injecjection of cefazolin iv. have had many types of antibotics but have never had yhis type of reaction. Would recommend another type of pre surgery antibotic

i was given this drug in the hospital for a infection i had while pregnant. almost didn't make it through the night .

The medicine is being used to prevent infection after my surgery. The only side effect I have had is nausea. Besides that the medicine as worked very effectively.

My son developed post-op lumbar wound infection due to Methicillin-Susceptible Staphylococcus Aureus (MSSA). Fifteen days after have back surgery to fix 2 herniated discs he developed this infection. Now he has to take Cefazolin for six weeks through a PICC line. After being on the antibiotic for five days he has developed pain in his groin and armpits. Not sure what this means. Can't fin
