By day number 6 the vivid dreams, hallucinations, falling and inability to walk without assistance had begun. Day 7 was even worse. The med was stopped a week ago today and the vivid dreams, hallucinations and difficulty walking are still present. Husband went from working full time and driving to needing help with ADL’s and is unable to actively participate in his life.

After 8 days on the full dose it started to work. Unfortunately, the side effects also set in. Dry eye that was so bad that I could not read, watch TV or drive because my eyes would not stop watering! I had no appetite for food or anything pleasurable. Did I mention the vivid nightmares? After 48 hours of detoxing, I am almost back to normal.

I was constantly swaying or wiggling with diskynesia and gocovri has stopped that from occurring.
