But once I got home from my drs, I starting feeling this sharp, burning sensation at the injection site. When I took the bandaid off, I had this chemical burn looking wound where the shot was administered. Haven���¢� 4;?������t done the shot since because that burn turned into a nasty hole in my side! Just thought I���¢��& #195;?�����d let people know.. it���¢�� ������s finally healing, although I���¢��& #195;?�����ll have a disgusting scar for the rest of my life..

The day I got the shot I felt pretty good. Everything was normal essentially. Day two though I woke up feeling like I was in withdrawal. I waited for about an hour until I took 1/4 tablet of suboxone. It made me feel better but I still had a throbbing headache. So I took another 1/4 of Suboxone. I waited for about an hour until I took 1/4 tablet of suboxone. It made me feel better but I still had a throbbing headache. So I took another 1/4 of Suboxone. Still had a throbbing headache so I took another one. Now I'm very dizzy, cold sweats, a stomach ache, and heavy eyes. I don't know if now there's too much buprenorphine in my system because I took 3/4 of a tab or if the Sublocade isn't working but even if I wake up tomorrow feeling perfect. How I've felt today will have made it not worth it. Will be getting off of this Sublocade next time I go in.

My overall experience using Sublocade has been absolutely positive! It is so easy to maintain as you are given a monthly injection and you are done until the next month. No waiting in line at pharmacies, no hassles, no problems! I will continue taking Sublocade injections until my doctor

I've been on this for 13 months now, I was lucky to start it shortly after it became available. I'm 2yr 6mos clean, I was on the strips before the shot. I love not needing to obsess about my dose, how often I get it, and what would happen if I run out. These were constant fears on suboxone. Medication is only a small part of what keeps me sober; I still work a strong 12-step program an ... Show Full Comment

I've been on this for 13 months now, I was lucky to start it shortly after it became available. I'm 2yr 6mos clean, I was on the strips before the shot. I love not needing to obsess about my dose, how often I get it, and what would happen if I run out. These were constant fears on suboxone. Medication is only a small part of what keeps me sober; I still work a strong 12-step program and have a sponsor, (though I know that isn't for everyone), I exercise, I eat right, I see a therapist and have a great team of healthcare providers. But this medication has helped save my life. I haven't had any side effects. Once I even had to get my injection 11 days late (shipping issues) and the doc offered me suboxone strips to hold me over but I had no withdrawal symptoms! Never needed the strips. I don't know when I will stop the shots, but with the help of this medication, I can live. No cravings, no withdraw. I now work productively and have healthy relationships. It's not a miracle drug but it sure is helpful.
