I was forced on this insulin because my insurance says its cheaper then the novolog that I have been on for years. Since starting this medication, I have had nothing but high blood sugars. I keep taking insulin to correct the high as my pump allows then I plummet. There is no happy medium and Ive been forced to stay on this medicine for almost a

Admelog does not work. I was finally getting my blood sugars under control with humalog and an insulin pump, but my insurance stopped covering humalog and gave me admelog. My blood sugars were higher than they have been in years. I am fighting the insurance company, and I have reported this drug to the FDA MedWatch. My current choices are to pay $150 a vial for the insulin that works, or, what my

My insurance no longer allowed Novolog or Humalog so I was forced to use Admelog since maybe Sept 2018. And since then, no matter how many times I test, how many times I change my diet, how many times I inject...my blood sugars are always high.... and then plummet once I end up taking too much. I have carb counted for the last 20 years... and never had this many outrageous highs while taking my me

Using in an insulin pump. For a few months, my blood sugar averaging 250. Couldn't figure out why. Then I research Ademelog. Other users claimed it was ineffective and like water. This was all BCBS would allow at the time. Had to increase my basal rate to 120%. Now BCBS will not cover Admelog (interesting). Back to Novalog and BG is back under 150 most times.

Insurance will not cover the Humalog so I had to be switched to this insulin. It's caused more high blood sugars than I have ever had. It causes more stress and aggravation and really isn't worth the cheap price they put on it. I can not believe that this insulin is allowed when all it is doing is causing more issues for diabetics.
