It tastes awful, like very salty mangoes. I did the two day prep and took the "day of" dose 3 hours earlier than the instructions specified and that was a good decision. You only have to drink a total of 64 ounces, but the taste is so disgusting I'd never use it again. The $100 co-pay was also hard to swallow.

I stayed on the low fiber diet for several days before the colonoscopy. Broke down two days before procedure and ate a Tomahawk steak with a loaded baked potato. 2nd colonoscopy, 1st time using Plenvu. First of all, it smells like dirty underwear. It tastes worse than awful. It’s super salty and super sweet at the same time. It made my stomach hurt (not just while taking it, but the entire next day after the procedure). Never stopped pooping neon yellow-colored water, even after the procedure. I would rather eat poop. I will never do a Plenvu prep again.

Plenvu does work but not without some terrible side effects. I was on a low fiber diet for 6 days before starting my bowel prep which, I am sure, made it easier. But let me warn you, that 2nd dose taken in the morning was absolutely terrible! Twenty minutes after practically gagging the solution down I started shaking uncontrollably and getting the chills. This lasted at least an hour. Luckil

Tasted horrible. Like drinking salt. Also too strong for my system. Had to wear depends to make it five steps to bathroom. Will never use again.
