I use Natural Factors Horse Chestnut 18% aescin extract (combined with Grapeseed 95% polyphenols) capsules on hot days to treat discomfort (burning or itching) from varicose veins on my calves. I typically experience the discomfort on very hot days after jogging, bicycling or prolonged walking. 1 capsule seems to be enough.

I took the first pill 3 days ago and just got out of bed. It made me dizzy, blurred my vision, decreased my blood pressure, and did not let me carry my daily activities/responsibilities. In essence, I was handicapped for 3 days until the effect wore offd. BE CAREFUL!!!

A friend had pain in her leg and they found she had a blood clot so I went to my doctor. I only have broken veins. I looked at the ingredients on a popular vein therapy. It listed horse chestnut as the first ingredient, but it was too costly for me. I check
