the scariest reaction I have ever had to an antibiotic...took it for 2 days and then had to change to another one because the side effects were awful...dizziness, tremors, elevated BP, nervousness. And I've never had any similar type of reaction to medication, ever.

I had terrible side effects, they were as followed: isomnia, dizziness, diarria, weakness and numbness on left side of body, stomach upset, headaches,nausea, vomiting, pale, elevated blood pressure...I took this medication for 5 days and from day one it started. I had horrible side effects. I woke up 5 hours after taking avelox with chest pains. It has now been 1 week since taking this drug. I have inflamed cartilage and tendons. In the possible side effects they list this as extremely rare. I'm not sure about that because I only took one pill and I am still paying the price.
